Refund Policy
Last updated 26 July 2026This policy explains when you can get your money back on the Diary of a Chief AI Officer course, how to ask, and how long it takes. It sits alongside the terms of service and the cancellation policy.
The short version. Consumers get a 14-day cooling-off period, unless you choose to start the course straight away, in which case you agree to give that right up. Businesses are not covered by those rules but we still offer a 14-day goodwill window while course access is unused. Faulty or misdescribed content is refundable either way.

- How we pay it
1. If you are a consumer
If you buy as an individual, outside your trade or profession, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day after we confirm your enrolment to change your mind, without giving a reason.
If you cancel within that period and have not started the course, you get a full refund.
2. If you choose to start straight away
The course is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout we ask you to confirm two things: that you want access to begin at once, and that you understand you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once it does.
If you give that consent and we give you access, your cooling-off right ends and the fee is non-refundable, except where section 4 applies. If you would rather keep your cancellation right, do not tick that box and wait out the 14 days before opening the course.
3. If you are a business
The 2013 Regulations do not apply to business purchases, so there is no statutory cooling-off period. As a matter of policy we will still refund in full within 14 days of enrolment where no account under your licence has accessed the course content.
Once any seat has opened the course, the fee is non-refundable, except where section 4 applies. Part-used access periods and unused seats are not refundable.
4. If the course is faulty or not as described
If the course is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as we described it, tell us and we will try to put it right. If we cannot, you are entitled to a refund or an appropriate price reduction. For consumers this reflects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and those rights are not affected by anything in this policy.
Problems caused by your own equipment, connection or browser are not faults in the course, though our support team will help you get up and running.
5. Renewals
Renewal fees follow the same rules. If a renewal is charged and you have not accessed any content in the new access period, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it in full.
6. How to request a refund
Email [support email address] from the address you enrolled with. Include your name, the business name if relevant, the tier you bought and the date. You do not need to give a reason within the cooling-off window. A clear statement that you are cancelling is enough.
We acknowledge refund requests within one working day and confirm the outcome within five working days.
7. How we pay refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method, without a fee. We make the refund within 14 days of accepting your request. Your bank or card issuer may take a few further days to show it.
Where a refund is due because you cancelled after starting, and we agree a partial refund, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the content you have already accessed.
